3 new decorated models
40 North opened three new decorated models, on the sixth floor of the West Building. Each of these addresses a different theme. One of the single bedroom models is designed for the college or graduate student, complete with bicycle hanging from the ceiling. The other single bedroom unit is for the young professional on the move. The two bedroom model is equally suited for the empty nester or professional couple, with one of the bedrooms serving as a sleek, contemporary office.

40 North Roofing Project Nearly Complete
One of the most important long-term maintenance components of any large building is the roofing system. A good roof is a wise investment in the future value of any structure and is very important in residential buildings. 40 North residents are fortunate that the Morgan Group is providing brand new roofing systems to both the East and West towers. “We’ve totally stripped off the former material and built back a durable, water-tight commercial roof,” says Todd Mullen, Property Manager. “These buildings are now in prime shape and we’re very proud to have them under such solid restoration.”

40 North Gets New Windows
Part of the dedication to making this a truly great address is to ensure that the physical structure is strong and modern. To this end, JRF Construction is in the process of installing brand new window systems, including new patio doors on all units with decks, on both the East and West buildings. “We didn’t even have to think about this improvement,” noted John Mullen, President of Morgan Group, project developers. “We want our new buyers to start out with a fully renovated building and this was a key step in that process”.

40 North to Get New Façade
The Morgan Group has given approval to architectural and construction plans to remove the plywood entry way, create a new, modern building façade and establish an outdoor plaza area for the East tower of 40 North, facing Meridian Street. “I think people haven’t noticed this building for years,” says John Mullen, “and it’s a shame, because it is very prominent. We’re going to make it right.” The scaffolding should be in place by the end of September, with project completion slated for year's end.
